Fiqh, or Islamic Jurisprudence, is the understanding and application of Islamic law (Shariah) derived from the Qur’an, Sunnah, scholarly consensus (Ijma’), and legal reasoning (Qiyas).

This discipline governs every aspect of a Muslim’s life, including worship, social interactions, business ethics, family matters, and legal rulings.
The Fiqh Program is structured across ten progressive levels, guiding students through fundamental rulings, advanced jurisprudential analysis, and real-world applications of Islamic law. The goal is to provide a comprehensive and practical understanding of how Islamic law governs daily life while emphasizing the importance of wisdom, context, and scholarly differences.
By completing this ten-level program, students will: Gain a deep understanding of Islamic law and its sources. Learn how to perform acts of worship (Ibadah) correctly according to Islamic rulings. Develop the ability to differentiate between obligatory (Fard), recommended (Sunnah), permissible (Mubah), disliked (Makruh), and prohibited (Haram) actions. Understand the four major Sunni schools of Fiqh (Hanafi, Maliki, Shafi’i, Hanbali)and their key differences. Study the rules of transactions, marriage, inheritance, and other social laws in Islam. Learn how Fatwas (Islamic rulings) are issued and the methodology of Islamic legal reasoning. Engage with modern-day Fiqh challenges and contemporary Islamic issues. Strengthen practical skills in applying Fiqh to real-life situations with clarity and confidence.
