Becoming a founding family
We are admitting our first families for the 2027-2028 school year. The process is simple, it asks only what admission needs, and no money changes hands until your child's grade is confirmed to open.
Our go or no-go promise
By March 15, 2027, we will tell every founding family whether their child's grade will open. If it will not, we will tell you that day, you will owe nothing, and you choose whether we keep your application for next year or delete it.

From interest to the first day
Join the interest list
Your name, email, state, and the grades and programs you are interested in. Nothing else about your children.
Apply
Applications open once our privacy and security groundwork is complete. You apply for each child from one family account, with no application fee in our founding year.
Meet us
We meet each family by video. For a child under 13, this conversation is also how a parent gives the consent children's privacy law requires. A teacher may hear your child read Qur'an for placement.
Hear our answer
By March 15, 2027 you will know whether your child's grade will open. A grade band opens with at least 8 students (our proposed minimum).
Enroll
Once the grade is confirmed and our safety checklist is complete, enrollment opens in your Family Portal: emergency details, guardians, learning support, consents, and your payment plan.
Start school
Our Principal confirms each child is ready, and your child meets their teachers and advisor.

Families we can serve
- Families living in the United States.
- US families living abroad for a time, and military families with an APO or FPO address.
- Full-Time Online School: grades 1 to 8 in our founding year.
- Islamic Studies Program: grades 1 to 12.
- No prior Islamic education is needed. SII is an Islamic school: every child studies Islam, Qur'an, and Arabic, and we welcome every family who wants that for their child.

What the application asks
Only what admission needs
For each child: name and the name they go by, date of birth, your relationship to the child, grade and program, preferred start, current schooling, Qur'an and Arabic level, and one yes-or-no question about a learning plan or health need to discuss. For your family: where you live (state and city, or country if you are abroad) and your home language. If you like, you may also tell us your family's madhhab and write a short family statement; both are optional. The application takes no files.
We do not ask for health details, emergency contacts, your address, school records, or whether your child is a girl or a boy until enrollment, after your child's grade is confirmed. If your child does not enroll, the application is deleted 12 months after the go or no-go date, unless you ask us to keep it for next year. Like every record we delete, it is then kept for 90 days in a sealed recovery archive that no one can read, in case of a mistake, and erased for good.
State by state
Can SII be your child's school where you live?
In most states, parents may enroll a child in a private school, including an online one, to meet the state's school attendance law, and some ask parents to file a notice. A few states ask more of an online school before it can be a child's school of record. We pause full-time enrollment in those states until we meet their requirements. Families there can still join the Islamic Studies Program. Your application also shows your state's status and what you need to file.

"Open" means families can apply to the Full-Time Online School and the Islamic Studies Program. "Islamic Studies Program only" means we cannot yet serve as your child's school of record in that state, and your child can still join the part-time Islamic Studies Program.

Before you apply
Honest answers to fair questions
- SII is not yet accredited. If your child later moves to another school, that school decides how to place your child and which SII records it accepts. Our accreditation road map.
- We are a new school. Our teachers and our Scholarly Review Board are not hired yet; they will be hired before classes begin. See where we are.
- Founding families keep a promise from us: while your child stays continuously enrolled, tuition rises no more than 3% a year.
