A new school should be easy to check. This page says plainly where Southern Islamic Institute stands. Our planned opening is Fall 2027, for the 2027-2028 school year.
The courses, today

True today
- The school's software is built and in testing: the Learning Hub, the Family Portal, and the office tools behind them.
- Our curriculum plan exists, from our founder's detailed outline. Lessons are being written and reviewed; the count above comes straight from our records.
- Our tuition, payment plans, and policies are published, so you can read them before you decide anything.
- Our interest list is open.
- Our Privacy Policy is in force.
Not true yet
- SII is not open, and no child is enrolled.
- SII is not accredited. We are pursuing accreditation. Our road map.
- Our Principal, teachers, and Scholarly Review Board are not hired yet. They will be hired, and the people who keep children safe are hired and cleared before any child enrolls. See our planned roles.
- There is no in-person campus, and we do not plan one for our founding year.
- We have no phone line or mailing address yet. Both are published before enrollment opens.
- We take no money of any kind yet.
Two checklists
What must be finished first
Two sets of conditions are built into our software. Applications cannot open, and tuition cannot be charged, until each list is complete.
Before we accept any application
Our new privacy policy live; encrypted backups kept off the server, with a restore we have tested; the encryption key held off the server; every staff session required to pass a two-step sign-in code, with staff signing in only through our own sign-in page; private files kept outside the public web folder; deletion on our retention schedule running; a written plan for a data breach; every service that can see personal information listed; and our state table loaded.
Before we charge tuition or create a child's account
The operating company and its name for the school in order; attorney review of our terms and refund policy; a mailing address and phone line; a Safeguarding Lead and deputy named; background checks and training for every adult with access to children; the video classroom set up and tested; a payment account with no financing options; a staffing plan that works at our published tuition; accreditation candidacy begun; insurance, including abuse and molestation coverage; and first-year courses reviewed.

If SII sounds right for your family, join the interest list. We will write when founding-family applications open. By March 15, 2027, every founding family hears whether their child's grade will open, and if it will not, you owe nothing.
