One price list, no interest, and no surprises
Every price on this site, in our calculator, and on every invoice comes from one record, so two pages can never disagree. Payment plans cost exactly the yearly tuition, split into parts. There is no interest, ever, and no late fees.

Tuition by program
In our founding year, families pay monthly or by term; we take no full-year prepayment from a school in its first year. From the second year, a whole-year plan with a small saving is added.

Discounts
Ways the price comes down

- Percentages are of the yearly list price, and they add together.
- At most two kinds of discount apply to a household each year. We apply the ones worth the most to you.
- Tuition assistance is separate: a confidential, need-based reduction decided by a person.
Discounts are percentages of the yearly list price and are added together, with at most two kinds per family per year. The sibling discount goes to each additional child, starting with the lower-priced enrollment. The referral credit begins in our second year.

Tuition assistance
Help for families who need it
Tuition Assistance is a need-based reduction in tuition, funded by the school. It is confidential, and a person decides every request, usually within 2 to 3 weeks. You ask for it from your Family Portal once your child has applied, and you share basic information about your household's income and expenses.
Assistance is never a loan and never carries interest. Your child's teachers are not told who receives it.
Founding families
A promise for families who start with us
A founding family takes a chance on a new school. In return, while your child stays continuously enrolled, your tuition rises no more than 3% a year.
You also receive a yearly tuition statement from your Family Portal, showing what you paid for each child, which some families need for savings plans or state programs. Whether it qualifies is a question for your tax adviser.
Refunds
If plans change
- If SII cancels your child's program or changes it in a major way, you get a full refund.
- If you withdraw before the first day of school, you get a full refund.
- During the first 30 days, tuition is refunded for each unused school week. After that, you pay through the end of the month in which you give notice.
- If SII ever closes, you get a refund for the unused part of what you paid within 30 days, and your child's records within 10 school days.
- We send your child's records to their next school within 10 school days of your request, whatever balance is owed.

Zakat and donations
Why we do not take zakat or donations
SII is operated by Ameen Systems, a company. Tuition is a payment to Ameen Systems for your child's schooling. Because of that, SII takes no donations, no zakat, and no sadaqah, and nothing paid to SII is tax-deductible as a gift.
SII does not collect or distribute zakat. If a masjid fund or another party pays a family's tuition, that is between the family and the payer, and we suggest they ask their scholar.
Our old website asked for donations, zakat, and student sponsorships. Those forms are retired; our records show no one ever gave through them. Tuition Assistance, funded by the school, takes their place.
