Tuition Billing
SII never charges interest, and there are no late fees. Our payment plans cost exactly the yearly tuition, split into parts. If a payment is late, we contact you and work it out.
Draft for attorney review; effective when enrollment opens.
Our billing principles
- No interest, ever. No late fees, ever. No fee type in our billing system can grow over time.
- Nothing renews automatically. Each school year is a new enrollment you choose, and we never store or charge a card without your action. If we ever offer saved-card payments, they will need your clear opt-in, a reminder before each school year, and easy self-service cancellation.
- No money is taken until your child's grade is confirmed to open and our readiness checklist for tuition is complete.
- One price list. Every price on our website, in our calculator, and on every invoice comes from one record.
Prices and plans
You choose a plan when you enroll, and it stays fixed for the school year. Installments add up to exactly the yearly tuition; if the tuition does not divide evenly, the last payment absorbs the few cents' difference, so you never pay more than the yearly price.

In our founding year, families pay monthly or by term, and no full-year prepayment is taken. From our second year, a whole-year plan is added, paid up front, at a small saving. The whole-year price and the plan prices are two prices offered before you agree, and you choose between them.
Discounts
| Discount | Amount | When it applies |
|---|---|---|
| Sibling | 15% off | Each additional child's tuition. It goes to the lower-priced enrollments first. |
| Early enrollment | 10% off | When you enroll 60 or more days before the term starts. |
| Returning family | 5% off | For families who re-enroll for another year, before the priority deadline. |
| Referral credit | $250 credit | Starts in our second year: for both families, when the family you refer enrolls. |
- Percentages are of the yearly list price, and they add together.
- At most two kinds of discount apply to a household each year. We apply the ones worth the most to you.
- Tuition assistance is separate: a confidential, need-based reduction decided by a person.
- Discounts are percentages of the yearly list price, added together.
- A family may combine at most two kinds of discount in a school year.
- The sibling discount applies to each additional child, starting with the lower-priced enrollment.
- The referral credit begins in our second year. Families who receive any discount or credit and write about SII publicly should say so.
Tuition assistance
Tuition Assistance is a need-based reduction in tuition, funded by the school. It is never a loan.
- You request it from the Family Portal once your child has applied.
- You share basic information about your household's income, expenses, and dependents, and a short note about your situation if you wish.
- A person reviews every request and decides, usually within 2 to 3 weeks.
- The decision is confidential. Your child's teachers are not told.
Assistance is decided for one school year at a time. If your situation changes during the year, you can ask again.
Invoices and paying
- Your family receives one invoice for each billing period, with a line for each child.
- You pay by card or bank transfer through our payment processor, Stripe, on its secure pages. Buy-now-pay-later and other financing options are turned off.
- Stripe receives a student number on each invoice, never a child's name.
- When families share tuition across two homes, each guardian can receive their share on their own invoice.
If a payment is late
We contact you and work it out. There is no fee and no interest. If paying becomes hard, tell us early: we can talk about your plan and about tuition assistance. We never withhold a child's records because of a balance. What happens if tuition goes unpaid for a long time will be set out here after review by our attorney.
Statements
You can download a yearly tuition statement from the Family Portal, showing the school's name and what you paid for each child. Some families use it for education savings plans or state programs; whether it qualifies is a question for your tax adviser.
The founding-family promise
While a founding family's child stays continuously enrolled, that child's tuition rises no more than 3% a year.
Zakat, donations, and third-party payers
SII is operated by Ameen Systems, a company, and tuition is a payment to Ameen Systems. SII takes no donations, no zakat, and no sadaqah, and nothing paid to SII is a tax-deductible gift. SII does not collect or distribute zakat. If a masjid fund or another party pays a family's tuition, that is between the family and the payer, and we suggest they ask their scholar.
