Level 8: Facing Darkness: Depression, Anxiety & Trauma

Outline only

This level acknowledges the real and painful experiences of depression, anxiety, and trauma, and offers both Islamic perspective and practical guidance for students navigating emotional darkness.

These are not signs of weakness or bad faith. They are signs of being human. Islam doesn’t dismiss our suffering: it meets it with mercy, validation, and deep spiritual tools for resilience and healing. Students will learn how to recognize signs of emotional disorders, respond with compassion, and begin the slow but sacred work of healing through both faith and professional support.

Planned: 9 modules, 44 units, 132 lesson titles. 44 units are held for review.

Outline: the course plan comes from our founder's curriculum, and lessons are being written and reviewed. Module, unit, and lesson titles appear here once scholars have reviewed a level.
