Mental Health
Level 1: Foundations of Emotional Wellness
Outline only
This level introduces students to the concept of emotional wellness through an Islamic lens. It lays the groundwork for understanding mental health as an essential part of a Muslim’s holistic well-being: connected to the heart (qalb), soul (ruh), and self (nafs).
Students will learn basic emotional literacy, explore how Islam addresses feelings like sadness and anger, and understand how acts of worship serve as tools for emotional stability. The level focuses on removing stigma, building awareness, and establishing a healthy, faith-based relationship with one’s emotions.
Planned: 8 modules, 40 units, 120 lesson titles. 40 units are held for review.
Outline: the course plan comes from our founder's curriculum, and lessons are being written and reviewed. Module, unit, and lesson titles appear here once scholars have reviewed a level.
