Family Planning
Level 4: Navigating Fertility, Infertility, and Medical Options
For adults 18 and older
Outline only
Not every couple’s path to parenthood is the same. For some, fertility comes easily; for others, it is a journey filled with patience, medical decisions, and deep spiritual reflection. This level addresses the wide spectrum of fertility experiences: highlighting the Islamic perspective on trying to conceive, navigating infertility, and exploring permissible medical interventions with trust in Allah’s decree.
Students will explore the emotional and spiritual dimensions of fertility struggles, as well as the fiqh surrounding treatments like IVF, egg and sperm donation, and surrogacy. This level provides compassion-centered education rooted in Islamic ethics, empowering learners to make informed and hopeful decisions while finding peace in whatever outcome Allah has written.
Planned: 5 modules, 25 units, 75 lesson titles. 25 units are held for review.
Outline: the course plan comes from our founder's curriculum, and lessons are being written and reviewed. Module, unit, and lesson titles appear here once scholars have reviewed a level.
