Level 4: Recognizing and Avoiding False Beliefs

Outline only

Students learn to hold firmly to sound belief. They study why Muslims follow the Sunnah in belief and worship, why scholars have always differed on some questions, how to tell a healthy difference of opinion from harmful division, and how faith and reason work together.

They also learn to answer secularism, atheism, and other modern challenges calmly and with knowledge. Units that compare the Sunni schools, weigh how far reasoned argument (kalam) goes in matters of belief, classify innovations, or discuss sects are taught in grades 11 and 12, after review by scholars from different schools.

Planned: 5 modules, 26 units, 50 lesson titles. 10 units are held for review.

Outline: the course plan comes from our founder's curriculum, and lessons are being written and reviewed. Module, unit, and lesson titles appear here once scholars have reviewed a level.
