Adab (Etiquette)
Level 8: Adab in Conflict, Disagreement, and Emotions
Outline only
One of the greatest tests of character is not how we behave when things are easy, but how we respond when we’re angry, hurt, or challenged. Islam offers a beautiful model for handling conflict with adab: transforming moments of tension into opportunities for humility, patience, and personal growth.
This level focuses on the etiquette of emotional regulation, disagreement, and reconciliation. Students will learn how to express frustration without harming, how to resolve disputes with grace, and how to disagree without disrespecting. From family arguments to online debates, this level trains the heart and tongue to remain rooted in ihsan: even under pressure.
Adab in these moments is not weakness: it’s a strength that brings people together and pleases Allah.
Planned: 6 modules, 30 units, 90 lesson titles. 1 unit is held for review.
Outline: the course plan comes from our founder's curriculum, and lessons are being written and reviewed. Module, unit, and lesson titles appear here once scholars have reviewed a level.
