Adab (Etiquette)

Level 7: Adab in Seeking Knowledge and Learning

Outline only

In Islam, knowledge is not just information: it is light. And to receive this light, the heart must be prepared with adab. The scholars of the past would teach manners before teaching knowledge, because they knew that character is what protects and honors what is learned.

This level focuses on the etiquette of being a student, a teacher, and a seeker of knowledge. Whether in a masjid, classroom, university, or online, Islamic learning begins with respect: for the subject, the teacher, the space, and the journey itself. From how we sit in a circle of knowledge to how we ask questions or take notes, adab shapes how we benefit, and how others benefit from us.

With sincere intention and beautiful manners, learning becomes worship.

Planned: 6 modules, 30 units, 90 lesson titles.

Outline: the course plan comes from our founder's curriculum, and lessons are being written and reviewed. Module, unit, and lesson titles appear here once scholars have reviewed a level.
