Adab (Etiquette)
Level 2: Adab With Allah and His Messenger ﷺ
Outline only
At the heart of adab is reverence, and the highest form of reverence is reserved for Allah and His Messenger ﷺ. Before we learn how to behave with people, we must first learn how to orient our entire being toward our Creator: with awe, humility, love, and submission. This is the root of all other etiquette.
This level focuses on how a Muslim should carry themselves in relationship to Allah: in speech, thought, behavior, and presence. It also explores how to show proper adab with the Prophet ﷺ, not just in how we speak of him, but how we respond to his teachings, send salawat, and follow his Sunnah with love and dignity.
By anchoring all adab in reverence for Allah and His Messenger ﷺ, students learn that etiquette is not about social image: it’s about servitude, sincerity, and sacred respect.
Planned: 6 modules, 30 units, 90 lesson titles. 1 unit is held for review.
Outline: the course plan comes from our founder's curriculum, and lessons are being written and reviewed. Module, unit, and lesson titles appear here once scholars have reviewed a level.
